Nothing good on TV

If you haven't already discovered Masterpiece Theater, it is time to tune in. I have heard a lot of buzz lately from friends who love transporting back to the 1930's. At first glance it may appear as a boring, stiff drama, but it is really an intriguing and mesmerizing ... stiff drama. I can't get enough. And don't worry about getting addicted and wasting all your free time watching a drama. There are only a few episodes per series. Short and sweet.

Click here to explore the Masterpiece on PBS website.

Downton Abbey.
Kevin (brother-in-law) described it as a 1930's The O.C. and I happen to agree. Love the characters, love the story, love the drama. You should love it too. We can all love it together when season two airs next January. Can't wait!
Sadly, you can't find it on PBS any longer. Enter my next love Netflix.
If you haven't signed up yet, today should be the day. You will not regret it.

I give Downton Abbey a 9 (out of 10)

I just finished Upstairs, Downstairs. Didn't love it as much as Downton, but still a good watch. This has a picturesque, happy ending. It also provides closure. I like it that way.

I give it a 6.

My next viewing will be South Riding. I have heard excellent reviews!

And then I think I will get Allen to watch Sherlock with me. I have a feeling he might enjoy it as well.

Who needs Two and Half Men?
I am sick of that being on the news. I didn't know people watched that show.
